Chamisa (she/her) is a citizen of the Navajo Nation and has Blackfeet and Shoshone-Bannock descendancy. She is also a developer and an emerging data scientist with experience developing conversational AI and culturally relevant AI systems. She is a graduate of Haskell Indian Nations University with an academic background focused on Tribal Sovereignty and a career focus on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and Data Science.

Chamisa got connected with NMCC through a partnership with VirtualGurus and supports the organization with technology projects.
